For this project we had to take apart our computers.  First I removed the four screws in the corners of the back panel so that I could remove the side panels.

Next, I disconnected all the power connections, removed the RAM, then removed the power supply.

Then I removed the SATA cable from the hard drive and motherboard.  Next, I removed the PATA cable from the DVD drive and motherboard.  After that, I removed the heat sink/CPU fan combo by undoing four push screws and disconnecting its power cable from the motherboard.  Lastly, I removed the rear fan.  This required that I disconnect it's power cable from the motherboard and then removing four screws from the rear panel.

1. In the role of desk-side support to user, what do you think is your strongest social skill that would help you succeed in this role?

 

      My best social skill would probably be listening.

2. What is likely to be your greatest interpersonal weakness that might present a challenge to you in this role?

     Public speaking!

3. What is one change you might consider making that will help you to improved on this weakness?

    More practice with public speaking.

4. In the role of phone support at the help desk, what part of that job would you enjoy the most? What part would give you the greatest challenge? 

     Being at a computer all day.  The biggest challenge would be having to be on the phone for extended periods of time.

5. When making on-site calls to corporate branches, what part of this job would you enjoy the most? What interpersonal skills, if any, would you need to develop so that you could do your best in this role?

     I would have to say seeing how different branches use different systems.  As for interpersonal skills, being more open to new ideas.

5a.   msinfo32 was easier to use simply because of the way it was organized
b.     Fresh Diagnose gave way more information.
c.     The way that you can arrange the data that is displayed.  Way easier than Fresh Diagnose.
d.    The sheer amount of information available in one place.
e.     I prefer msinfo32.exe supply because of the ease of use.

Well, here is the back of the computer we have taken apart and put back together so many times.  As you can tell from the out dated 6 pin mouse and keyboard ports, this is an older motherboard.  Oh, and lets not forget about the serial and parallel port, OLD SCHOOL!
